Data Center
White Space IT
Infrastructure Solutions

From server cabinets and rack systems to structured cabling, PDU solutions, and hot/cold aisle management, we build your data center's white space infrastructure end-to-end.

White Space Infrastructure Design

In data centers, "white space" refers to the main production area where IT equipment is located and operated. This area, containing server cabinets, network devices, storage systems, and all related connectivity infrastructure, is the heart of the data center. White space design directly impacts the facility's performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Currently, rack densities typically range from 5-15 kW, but in high-density AI and HPC applications, power demands of 30 kW and above per cabinet are becoming increasingly common. Designed according to TIA-942 and BICSI standards, the white space infrastructure both meets current needs and accommodates future growth.

Our White Space Solutions

At ALZ Technology, we design, supply, and install the end-to-end white space infrastructure for your data center. From small server rooms to large-scale colocation facilities, we offer the most suitable solution combination for every project with our vendor-independent approach.

  • Server cabinets and rack systems (42U/47U standard)

  • Structured cabling infrastructure (Cat6A, Cat7, fiber optic)

  • Fiber optic solutions (OM3/OM4 multimode, OS2 singlemode)

  • PDU - power distribution units (basic, metered, switched, intelligent)

  • Cable management systems and cable trays

  • Hot/cold corridor containment systems

  • KVM switch and remote access solutions

  • Patch panel and cross-connect solutions

  • Interior monitoring sensors (temperature, humidity, door)

  • Raised floor and cable tray systems.

When selecting racks, we evaluate critical parameters such as cabinet depth, weight capacity, ventilation rate, and cable entry points according to your project. For PDU solutions, we offer a wide range of products from basic models to remotely manageable intelligent PDUs, providing independent power monitoring and management for each rack.

Cable Management and Standards

Structured cabling is the nerve center of a data center. A cabling infrastructure designed to comply with TIA-568 and ISO 11801 standards provides high bandwidth, low latency, and long-term reliability. Copper cables (Cat6A/Cat7) offer a cost advantage for short-distance connections, while fiber optic lines are indispensable for long-distance and high-speed backbone connections.

Proper cable management is not only an aesthetic requirement but also a critical factor that directly affects airflow performance. Disorganized cable bundles can prevent cool air from reaching IT equipment, leading to hot spots. We provide both ease of maintenance and optimal airflow by using cable trays, cable trays, and velcro fastening systems.

Fiber Optic and Copper Cable Selection

In data centers, cable type selection is based on distance, bandwidth requirements, and budget parameters. OM3/OM4 multimode fiber is commonly preferred for short-distance (300-550m, 10G) connections within data centers, while OS2 singlemode fiber is used for inter-campus and long-distance connections. Cat6A copper cabling provides reliable communication up to 100 meters in 10GBASE-T supported connections.
