Precision Climate Control
Solutions
We optimize your data center's energy efficiency with precision climate control systems compliant with ASHRAE standards, hot/cold aisle isolation, free cooling, and CFD analysis.
Data Center Climate Control Infrastructure
In data centers, climate control is one of the most critical infrastructure components, accounting for 30% to 40% of total energy consumption. Precise control of environmental conditions is essential for the reliable operation of IT equipment. According to ASHRAE TC9.9 standards, the recommended temperature range is 18-27°C, and the humidity dew point should be between 5.5-15°C.
Exceeding these limits can lead to serious problems such as thermal throttling, unexpected shutdowns, and reduced hardware lifespan in servers, storage, and network devices. A properly designed precision climate control system increases equipment reliability and significantly reduces operating costs.

Our Air Conditioning Solutions
At ALZ Technology, we design the most suitable climate control solution for your data center based on its size, density, and geographic location. We offer a wide range of services, from small server rooms to high-density hyperscale facilities. Our solutions are designed independently of the manufacturer and include the most appropriate combination of technologies for your project's requirements.
Precision air conditioning systems (DX and chilled water)
Hot corridor / cold corridor insulation (containment) systems
Free cooling solutions
In-row and perimeter cooling units
Water-cooled (chilled water) systems
Rear-door heat exchanger solutions
Airflow optimization and management
CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) analysis and simulation
Cooling capacity planning and PUE optimization
Humidity control and humidification/dehumidification systems
By conducting a project-specific engineering analysis, we determine the appropriate cooling topology for your rack density and total heat load. In-row units offer an ideal solution for high-density cabinets, while perimeter type air conditioners provide efficient performance in medium-density and homogeneously distributed environments. Rear-door heat exchangers, on the other hand, prevent hot spot formation by dissipating heat directly from the rear of the cabinet in cabinet densities above 30 kW.
Energy Efficiency and PUE
PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) is a key metric that measures the energy efficiency of data centers. This value, which represents the ratio of total facility energy to IT load, should ideally be close to 1.0. While PUE is typically 2.0 or higher in traditional data centers, it's possible to reduce this value to the 1.3-1.5 range with a properly designed cooling infrastructure.
Türkiye's climate conditions, especially in Central Anatolia and high-altitude regions, offer a significant advantage for free cooling applications. The ability to perform compressorless cooling during periods when the ambient temperature is sufficiently low for a large part of the year results in energy cost savings of 30-50%. DX (direct expansion) systems offer cost advantages in small and medium-sized facilities, while chilled water systems provide higher efficiency and flexibility in large-scale data centers.
Cooling Optimization with CFD Analysis
CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simülasyonları kullanarak veri merkezinizdeki hava akış paternlerini, sıcaklık dağılımını ve potansiyel hot spot noktalarını önceden tespit ediyoruz. Bu analiz sayesinde soğutma kapasitesinin verimli kullanılması, containment sistemlerinin doğru konumlandırılması ve enerji israfının önlenmesi sağlanır. Mevcut tesislerinizde de CFD analizi yaparak iyileştirme fırsatlarını belirliyoruz.
